In Palestine
Mainly, relative high densities of mammalian species do occur in Palestine in comparison to other
countries in Arabia. This fact is due to several features such as: geographical location
between three continents, the high diversity in soil and climate elements. This in turn has helped
species of different origins to settle and inhabit Palestine. The distribution of most mammals
in Palestine depends on the distribution of their zoogeographic sub regions. |
